When you get a held for authentication error :
When you get this error
You select the refresh circle that is at the right of that error window.
Once you have clicked on this refresh circle you will see a popup screen asking you to enter your username and password, here you are required to make sure that the user name is the same as your network/light-speed username and enter the corresponding password.
If this does not work and continues to bring up the error please come to the IT department and get your password unlocked and then you try again.
