HOW TO RESERVE A CAMERA:
- know when you will shoot and book your dates at least ONE WEEK in advance
- email your request to helpdesk and cc in Mrs. Johnson
- Ensure you know what time you will collect your camera (preferably first thing in the morning or between 2pm and 3pm)
- if you are shooing for a few days, please request a battery charger
- pleaser request a tripod if you need one
- when you collect camera please check if it has and SD card, a battery, a charger, a lens cap.
HOW TO LOOK AFTER THE CAMERA:
- If you are on campus all day, lease you camera in Ms. Reeler's room rather than lug it around with you
- if camera in not in use KEEP IT IN THE BAG
- if you remove lens cap, SD card or anything else, KEEP IT IN THE BAG
- hold camera with 2 hands
- make sure camera is PROPERLY attached to a tripod if you are using one
- DO NO leave camera in a car or ANYWHERE where it can be stolen
- please put a reminder on your computer/phone/written on your forehead about collection and drop off times
ADDITIONAL POINTS:
- I highly recommend you get yourself a 10 Speed SD card for your own use
- All footage must be removed from the school equipment and saved (and backed up)
- the tech department will issue warnings (or bans) if they see you not handling equipment with respect. these will be communicated .
The Tech Department will do everything in their power to support you. Please treat the equipment with the utmost respect.
